DIY Felt Animal Wall Decoration

4/07/2013 03:51:00 pm

When you read this, Aidan and I will be in Berlin already, bringing stuff into the new flat as well as pickung up a washing machine and fridge. For you, I have something more exciting: a very simple idea for wall decoration. You'll need: felt in many different colours, light cotton, frame, templates for the shapes you want to cut out, fabric glue.

1. First, cut the fabric to the required size using the back of your frame. Give some extra cm, you can easily just fold them to the back later. Iron the fabric.

2. Nun mithilfe der Vorlagen ganz viele Tiere/Blumen/geometrische Formen/Herzen ausschneiden. Ganz wie ihr wollt!

2. Using the templates, cut out loads of animals/flowers/geometric shapes/hearts. Whatever you like most!

Dann alles festkleben.

3. Arrange everything within the frame; you'll probably need a while until it's to your complete satisfaction. Then glue the felt bits on.

4. And done! Please send me a link in case you try this technique, I'd love to see your creations. Have a great Sunday today.
