Wie ich euch am Samstag ja bereits berichtet habe, ging es für mich am Wochenende auf die VeggieWorld. Der Tag startete mit dem Keimling Breakfast Club in Kooperation mit dem VEBU - vielen Dank nochmal für die Einladung und den tollen Vortrag von Niko Rittenau! Dort habe ich unter anderem endlich Rosa getroffen, das war schon lange mal in Planung!




As I have already told you on Saturday, I went to the VeggieWorld on the weekend. The day started with the Keimling Breakfast Club in cooperation with VEBU, Germany's Vegetarian Interest Group - again, many thanks for the invitation and the great presentation by Niko Rittenau! Amongst others, I finally got to meet Rosa, this has been long awaited!



Nach dem Frühstück ging es weiter mit einem Rundgang der Messe, bei dem wir an den verschiedensten Ständen Halt gemacht haben, und ich nehme euch einfach mal mit, zuerst zum Keimling Stand, wo der neue Vitamix vorgestellt wurde. Dann... // After breakfast, we continued with a tour round the fair and stopped at some selected booths, let me take you with me to the Keimling booth were the new Vitamix was presented. Then...



... zum Stand von Stories of Almond, die Bio-Mandelmus in verschiedensten Geschmäckern herstellen. // ... to the booth of Stories of Almond who produce organic almond nutter in different flavours.





...zu l'herbivore, welche aus Berlin sind und Seitan- und Lupinprodukte herstellen. // ...to l'herbivore that are based in Berlin and produce seitan and lupine products. 




Und zum Simply V-Stand, welche veganen Käse in Scheiben und als Frischkäse herstellen! Da gab es auch Waffeln mit Schoko-Frischkäse - hmm.. // And to the Simply V booth who sell vegan cheese in slices and as cream cheese! We were served waffles with chocolate cream cheese - hmm...






Nächster Halt war fairment mit Kombucha-Tee... // Next stop was fairment with Kombucha tea...




...und anschließend den Tofu-Stand von Taifun! Sehr viel leckere Kostproben! // ...and then to the tofu booth from Taifun! Plenty of delicious things to try!





Ein kurzer Halt bei Seedheart... // A quick stop at Seedheart...




... und abschließend bei Kissa, die uns den perfekten Matcha zeigten. // ...and at the end at Kissa who showed us the perfect Matcha.




Aidan war zu diesem Zeitpunkt auch nachgekommen und zusammen haben wir uns noch die Präsentation von Patrick Baboumian angeschaut - ich liebe diesen Mann ja einfach! Nach einem langen Tag ging es dann nach Hause, einfach erschlagen von den Massen und den vielen Eindrücken! // Aidan joined me at that point and together, we watched the presentation of Patrick Baboumian - man, I love this guy! After a long day we headed home, absolutely knackered from the crowds!

P.S.: Ich habe ordentlich Proben mitbekommen - das werde ich in den kommenden Wochen alles testen! // I received loads of samples which I will test and try in the coming weeks!

Als die Bilder gemacht wurden, habe ich schon sechs Stunden auf der VeggieWorld verbracht - daher die sehr wirren Haare, die heranschreitende Dunkelheit und volle Tasche. Apropos Tasche, die ist neu und von Fritzi aus Preußen, eine Marke, die mir allein vom Namen her schon sympathisch ist und sie stellen nur lederfreie Produkte her! Das Modell heißt Sara und ich sage euch, da passt richtig viel Zeug rein!!



When the pictures were taken, I had already spent six hours at the VeggieWorld - hence my very tousled hair, the darkness and the packed bag. Speaking of bag, that one is new and from Fritzi aus Preußen ('Fritzi from Prussia') a brand that I already like due to its name and they only produce leather-free products! The model is called Sara and I tell you, half of your household will fit in that thing.



Der Schal ist neu, richtig schön weich und die Farben sind auch genau mein Ding! Aber nochmal zurück zur VeggieWorld: bis morgen läuft sie noch in Berlin und ist für alle, die sich für vegane Produkte und den Lifestyle interessieren, die richtige Adresse!



The scarf is new, really, really soft and the colours are also totally my thing! But back to the VeggieWorld: it takes place until tomorrow in Berlin and is the right place to be for everyone interested in vegan products and vegan lifestyle!

Ich habe ja ein Faible für Capes und Ponchos, auch wenn sie eigentlich total unpraktisch sind. Rucksack geht gar nicht, Taschen kann man nur in der Hand tragen - dafür kann man sich schön einmummeln, wenn es kühler wird!



I have a thing for capes and ponchos even though they are actually completely impractical. You can't use a backpack to save your life and you can only wear bags in your hands - on the other hand, you can wrap up when it gets a little cooler!



Das Cape hat eine schöne Länge und ich könnte mir auch gut schmale Hosen dazu vorstellen, was meint ihr? Hier aber ganz dezent kombiniert komplett in schwarz mit Schuhen, die aus dem Decathlon und eigentlich Reitstiefeletten sind. Ich habe schon so lange nach kurzen Gummistiefeln gesucht und die sind klassisch genug, um sie auch auf Arbeit tragen zu können.



This Zaful cape has a really nice length and I also see slim trousers combined with it, what do you think? For this post, I chose to go all black with shoes that I got from the Decathlon and that are actually riding boots. I have been on the look for short wellington boots and these are classic enough to also wear them to work.

Seit einer Weile schon habe ich nach einem schönen Stirnband gesucht. Eins, das nicht kratzt an der Stirn, schön 'voluminös' ist und keinen Eierkopf macht - gar nicht so einfach zu finden! Gefunden habe ich es dann aber doch und zwar genau dieses hier. Mal wieder ausgepackt habe ich den tollsten Rock ever, kombiniert mit etwas dunklem Gelb.




I have been on the hunt for a nice headband for a while now. One that is not scratchy on the forehead, that is nicely 'voluminous' and doesn't make your head egg-shaped - I tell you what, not easy! Luckily I did find one, this exact model. I got out the nicest skirt of all time again and mixed it with some dark yellow.



Diesen Samstag machen wir uns einen richtig tollen, faulen Tag - okay, einkaufen und putzen und so mussten schon sein, wenn es dunkel wird widmen wir uns aber mal dem gepflegten Nichtstun, Essen, Lesen und sinnlos Videos gucken. Und online Schaufenster-Bummel (ich brauche noch eine dicke Jacke, vielleicht eine von denen hier?). Das muss mal sein! Wie oft gönnt ihr euch einen faulen Tag?



This Saturday, we plan to have a really lovely, lazy day - okay, cleaning and food shopping and that is compulsory, but when it gets dark we'll dedicate our time to sweet doing nothing, eating, reading and senselessly watching videos. And some online window shopping (I still need a warm jacket, maybe one of those?). From time to time, an afternoon like this needs be. How often do you treat yourself to a lazy day?
