Und heute auch gleich ein Outfit mit neuem Haar! Den Rock hatte ich schon ewig nicht mehr an, obwohl er lange Zeit ein Lieblingsstück von mir war. Gekauft in London vor zwei oder drei Jahren, erlebt er jetzt bestimmt sein Revival bei mir!




And an outfit with new hair today! I haven't worn this skirt in ages even though it used to be a favourite item of mine for a while. I bought it in London two or three years ago and I'm sure it'll have its revival in my wardrobe now!




Die Bluse habe ich mit Patches aus meinem Shop verziert - wie genau das geht, verrate ich euch hier in einem Tutorial! Heute fahre ich mit Schwester und Mama nach Berlin um Aidans und meine neue Wohnung (!) auszumessen. Ich freu mich total aufs Einrichten und kann's auch kaum erwarten, euch daran teilhaben zu lassen.

Meine Lieben, gestern war ich endlich mal wieder beim Friseur (das letzte Mal ist gute 7 Monate her...). So sah ich vorher aus: frisch gefärbt mit einer Zuhause-Mischung, aber ohne Schnitt.

My lovelies, I finally went to the hairdresser yesterday (the last time I've been is a good 7 months ago...). This is how I looked before: freshly dyed with a box dye, but without any shape or cut.



Und jetzt so! Ich bin total glücklich und liebe meinen Pony sehr (wenn man seine Haare überhaupt lieben kann). Nebenbei konnte ich damit auch einen Punkt meiner 25 vor 26-Liste abhaken. Tolle Ostern euch allen!



And now like this! I'm really happy and already love my fringe (if you can actually love your hair). Besides I can now tick off one point of my 25 before 26 list. Happy Easter everyone!

Heut war ich den ganzen Tag in Berlin unterwegs, daher heute ein paar (na, genau drei...) Impressionen!

Ich mag Müsli eigentlich gern, kann aber Trockenfrüchte im Allgemeinen nicht ausstehen und finde auch den Zuckergehalt von den meisten Fertigmüslis sehr abschreckend. Was bleibt da übrig? Na klar, ein eigenes zusammenmischen!


I actually really like muesli but generally detest dried fruits and also shy away from the incredibly high sugar content of most store-bought mueslis. What's left then? Of course, make your own!




Einfach gewünschte Zutaten in ein großes Schraubglas oder anderes Gefäß geben und dann das Ganze gut durchschütteln. Schon fertig und garantiert lecker, gesünder und viel günstiger!



Just put your desired ingredients into a large jar or any other container and then shake the whole thing well so everything distributes nicely. That's that and it is delicious, healthier and even cheaper!

Und eine weitere Runde von Outfitbildern, die schon etwas älter sind! Das erste Outfit hier stammt noch aus Londoner Zeiten, genauer gesagt vom 10. August letzten Jahres. Und was habe ich an dem Tag gemacht? Mein Kalender sagt dazu nicht viel, wahrscheinlich habe ich zuhause an meiner Masterarbeit geschrieben und habe mich nur ordentlich angezogen, um kurz einzukaufen!

Es gibt unzählige Möglichkeiten, Dinge umzufunktionieren. Ein sehr dankbares Objekt sind Wäscheklammern - eine Idee gibt's heute! Mit Hilfe einer Schnur und Wäscheklammern (meine sind mit Nagellack bemalt) kann man ganz einfach Fotos aufhängen. Besonders gut für Mietwohnungen, in denen man die Wände ja nicht mal anfassen will!



There are numerous possibilities to convert things. One very thankful object is pegs - one idea for them today! You can easily hang photos with the help of a string and pegs (mine have been painted with nail polish). Especially good for rented flats in which you don't want to touch the walls!

Es ist ja kein Geheimnis dass ich Ellbogen-Aufnäher wunderschön finde und diese mir gern auch selbst annähe! Heut zeige ich euch, wie man das am besten zuhause machen kann. Ihr braucht: ein Hemd/Cardigan/Pullover den ihr verschönern wollt, Ellbogen-Aufnäher (die abgebildeten gibt's hier), passenden Faden, Nadeln und einen Stift.

It's no secret that I love a good elbow patch and that I'm also keen on sewing them on myself! Today I'm going to show you how to do this at home. You'll need: a shirt/cardigan/jumper you want to prettify, elbow patches (find the ones pictured here), matching thread, needles and a pen or pencil.

Letztes Jahr hatte ich so einen Abreißkalender die von allein stehen und konnte das Gestell dazu einfach nicht wegwerfen. Zu irgendetwas musste man es doch gebrauchen können (sagte der Messie). Und natürlich kann man daraus etwas basteln, in dem Fall hier einen Geburtstagsgruß - perfekt für den Geburtstagstisch!

Last year I had one of these tear-off calenders that can stand on their own and just couldn't throw away the leftover bit. At least, there must be a use for it (said the messie). And, of course, I did find a use for it and turned it into a little birthday sign - perfect for the birthday table!

Mal wieder ein paar tolle Photobombing-Bilder - der Kater schafft es immer wieder, alle Aufmerksamkeit auf sich zu ziehen, wenn er in der Nähe ist! Wie man sieht, hat auch uns wieder der Winter erreicht und ich find's so gar nicht gut. Schließlich ist nächste Woche Frühlingsanfang!



Some great photo bombing pictures - the cat just always manages to draw all the attention to him whenever he's close! As you can see, winter has reached us again and I really don't like it. After all, it's the beginning of spring next week!



Die Schuhe sind ein weiteres und auch das letzte Teil meiner Easy Young Fashion-Bestellung. Ich liebe Mokassins, das ist kein Geheimnis, und hab jetzt also ein weiteres Paar in meiner Sammlung. Auf dass sie weiter wachse! Das Kleid gehörte mal meiner Mutter, ein bisschen erinnert es mich vom Schnitt an die Zwanziger Jahre...ungewöhnlich für mich, aber ich mag es trotzdem sehr!




The shoes are another and also the last item of my Easy Young Fashion order. I love moccasins, that's no secret, and so I have another pair in my collection right now. I hope it'll growing more in the future! The dress used to be my mum's and it reminds me of the Twenties a bit with its cut...it's an unusual one for me, but I still like it!
