Homemade Chai Latte
If I'm out and get something to drink, I like getting a Chai Latte. Inspired by this love I went ahead and bought these Chai tea bags but wasn't impresses at all - way too tasteless. After some research online I've found a recipe that is now the standard for me (and was served at the Cake Party!).
Mix 2 cups of boiling water with 4 black tea bags, 1/4 cup of honey (I usually just use a generous amount without measuring), 1/2 tsp vanilla extract, 1 cinnamon stick, 5 cloves, 1/4 tsp ground cardamon, 1/4 tsp ground ginger and a pinch of ground nutmeg in a pot and let boil for 10 minutes. Then put in 2 cups of milk and let simmer for another while. Have a taste and add some more spices if you want. Strain the spices and serve. Enjoy (best with cake)!

I haven't had a chai latte in years! I used to buy the best ones at this book store chain called Borders which sadly got shut down and have yet to find a decent chai anywhere else. I never even thought to make my own though! I never realized how easy it is - bookmarking this now and bound to make one for myself soon :)
