Here's an Idea: Embroidery Hoop Wall Decor

1/26/2015 04:31:00 pm

I'm not sure where I saw this idea first: using an embroidery hoop as a base and holder for embroidered/sewed on/painted fabric. But I do know that I really wanted to try that, too. I got my hoop for fairly cheap on ebay, it's worth having a look there! Furthermore: neutral base fabric, patterned fabric scraps, embroidery yarn, buttons, small twigs, key, etc - basically everything I had at home and would be suitable to be sewn onto.

After having all the supplies together, I tried, layed out, changed and pondered until I liked the layout. Then I took a photo (!) - it really helps when you are then trying to recreate the whole thing. Basically, the images say it all. I'm really happy with the result and do think about making some more!

  6. Liebe Kati,

Sollte man wirklich einmal ausprobieren.
