Here's an Idea: Peg Photo Holders

5/19/2014 04:26:00 pm

The idea of having fridge magnets is probably as old as modern fridges are. There are thousands of variations, and one of them are peg magnets (is that a word?). You can hang up postcards, lists and recipes with these and it looks nice. Here's my version, for which you'll need: wooden pegs, paint and/or nail varnish, glue, magnets.

1. First off, take the pegs apart. Afterwards, paint the wooden parts either with nail polish or paint (both options work great).

2. When everything has dried, assemble the pegs again. This will need a little elbow grease but is totally doable!

3. Since my magnets were a bit too large, I simply split them down in the middle using a chisel...then glue these onto the pegs. Let dry, and you're done!
