How to Style a Full Fringe (the Lazy Way)
Today I'll show you how I always style my fringe. One of my concerns before having it cut was that a fringe would be high maintenance. Wash it every day, straighten it, then comes the wind and destroys everything...things like that. But you know, actually it's super easy and if it is the styling that keeps you from getting a fringe, too, then you'll have no excuses anymore! Directly after washing, comb the fringe to the front. Really important, because if you have whorls then you'll be taming them with that!
Now either blow dry or let your fringe air dry - if I choose the latter option I comb the fringe through from time to time, otherwise I have waves quickly that I don't want and will need to use more heat later. If you choose the second option: first, spray on heat protection spray, and then keep on combing to the front while blow drying!
This is how it looks at this stage. Basically, you could leave the house like that to get fresh bread rolls, but if you want a little more, straighten the fringe. Comb through with a fine comb, straighten strand by strand.
At the end, spray everything with strong hair spray (keeps like super glue!) and you're done!
For on-the-go I always have a comb in my handbag, especially now with the spring winds and after cycling it's always good to have the opportunity to sort the fringe out a bit. You see, it's all nice and easy. So, book an appointment now!

This makes me miss my fringe :( x

That's pretty much what I do on my lazy days! On nicer bang days I blow dry with a round brush and use a flat iron so it looks more sleek and less poofy :) It's easy once you know what to do!! Took me a while to figure it out, so I watched my hair stylist and that's what they did.
ReplyDeletei love your hair!! i wish i could pull of bangs as well as you do!!

Great tips, it looks so good on you! I tried fringe once, but I wasn't good at taking care of it so it did not work well for me.
ReplyDeleteYour fringe is always so cute, and its great to see how you maintain it! I'm gonna apply these tips myself :)

I love this style of fringe! I agree, it is actually not as hard as one might think. I find that dry shampoo is the best for maintaining a fringe
ReplyDeleteI love your full fringe! I try to style mine but it only looks the way I want it to about 10% of the time!

Takes more work than I imagined.. !! No wonder my full fringe always gave me nightmares. I am happy with side bangs now. Don't even have to blow dry. But great tips from your side!
