Vegan Goulash in Bread Bowl

11/24/2015 05:32:00 pm

For this vegan goulash in a bread bowl, I first had to purchase certain things. Currently, Lidl has a large selection in its organic Biotrend label. I didn't get anything there but the following ingredients: oil, onions, peppers, garlic, organic lemon. I had purchased the soy chunks earlier online. You will additionally need vegan red wine as well as paprika, sea salt, marjoram, agave syrup, soy cream and tomato purée.

Prepare and soak 150g of soy chunks as described on the packaging. Fry for a few minutes on high heat. Cut 2 onions into rings, 2 peppers into stripes and garlic into small pieces. Remove soy chunks from pan and fry onions and pepper for 5 minutes. Add garlic and fry another 2 minutes.

Sojawürfel, 2 TL Paprikapulver und 1/2 TL Majoran dazugeben, 3 Minuten braten. Dann 100ml Rotwein, 300ml Wasser, Schale einer 1/2 Zitrone, Prise Salz und 1 1/2 EL Agavendicksaft hinzugeben. Einkochen und zum Schluss 3 EL Sahne dazugeben. In das ausgehöhlte Brot füllen und servieren!

Add soy chunks, 2 tsp paprika and 1/2 tsp marjoram; cook for 3 minutes. Then add 100ml red wine, 300ml water, zest of 1/2 lemon, pinch of salt and 1 1/2 tbsp agave syrup. Bring to a boil. To finish off, add 3 tbsp cream. Fill into carved out bread and serve!
