Ich bin zurück vom Lande und es war so schön! Wir haben den Samstag und Sonntag vormittag damit verbracht, alles für die Party am Sonntag nachmittag vorzubereiten. Wir hatten viel Essen, Drinks und Spaß - hier ein paar Eindrücke. Leider habe ich keine Bilder während der eigentlichen Party gemacht, ich vergesse das immer wenn ich mich mit Leuten unterhalte, esse und einfach alles genieße.

I'm back from the country and it was so lovely! We spent the saturday and sunday morning with preparing everything for the party, which was on sunday afternoon. We had a lot of food, drinks and fun - here are some impressions. Unfortunately I didn't take pictures during the actual party, I always forget that when I enjoy myself.

Gestern bin ich mit Sarah in den tigertiger-Club gegangen. Es war ziemlich lustig und wir sind erst spät ins Bett gekommen.
Das Bild sieht ziemlich kury aus auf den Fotos, so kurz ist es eigentlich nicht! Ich hätte vor den Fotos erstmal meine Sachen ordnen sollen.

Yesterday I went out with my friend Sarah to the tigertiger club. We had so much fun and went to bed quite late.
The dress looks very short in the pictures, it's not that short actually! I should have put everything in order before taking the pictures.






Heute besuche ich die Familie einer meiner Mitbewohnerinnen - das heißt, ich bin auf dem Lande bis Montag morgen. Ich wünsche euch allen ein tolles Wochenende!

Today I'm going to visit the family of one of my housemates - that means, I'm in the country over until monday morning. I wish you all a nice week-end!

Das Abendessen gestern war sehr lecker - wir sind italienisch essen gegangen und ich habe Nudeln mit Pesto bestellt.
Ich konnte meine Freundin überreden, ein Foto von mir zu machen, und ich habe auch eins von ihr gemacht, damit ihr sie mal sehen könnt.

The dinner yesterday was really delicious - we went to an Italian restaurant and I had pasta with pesto.
I could persuade my friend to take a picture of me, and I took one of her, so you can see her.

Als ich meinen Kommentar zum Gewinnspiel bei Luphia Loves eingab, hätte ich nie gedacht dass ich wirklich den Gutschein für Intrinsic Garden gewinnen würde. Aber ich habe gewonnen! Ich habe mir zwei Ringe ausgesucht, die gestern angekommen sind.

When I entered my comment to the give away post at Luphia Loves, I never thought that I would win that voucher for Intrinsic Garden. But I did! I chose two rings and they arrived yesterday.

Heute abend gehe ich mit einer Freundin abendessen. Ich freue mich schon so darauf! Outfitbilder folgen dann morgen, ich werde versuchen sie zu überzeugen mich zu fotografieren, der Balkon langweilt mich langsam...

Wenn man für eine Weile in einem anderen Land lebt, fängt man an sein Heimatland mit anderen Augen zu betrachten. Man bemerkt Dinge, die man vorher nie wahrgenommen hat und beginnt diese Dinge/Angewohnheiten/Traditionen dann zu mögen oder abzulehnen. Eine Sache die ich vermissen werde wenn ich wieder in Deutschland bin ist der geringe Respekt vor roten Ampeln. Wenn es irgendwie möglich ist über die Straße zu gehen, wird man es tun - auch wenn es rot ist. Einmal habe ich die Straße zusammen mit zwei Polizisten überquert - und natürlich war die Ampel nicht grün.

When you're living in a foreign country for some time, you start looking on your home country with different eyes. You notice things that you never really saw before and start liking or disliking certain things/habits/traditions. One thing I'll miss when I'm back in Germany is the low respect for red traffic lights. When it's sort of possible to cross the street, you'll do it - even the traffic lights are red. Once I crossed the street together with two police men - and of course it wasn't a green light for us.



Ihr werdet es kaum glauben (es geschehen noch Zeichen und Wunder!) aber ich habe mir meine erste Jeans seit etwa 2 Jahren gekauft! Ich hatte irgendwie das Bedürfnis und dachte, ich bräuchte eine...meine Mitbewohnerinnen waren milde geschockt, ebenso meine Arbeitskollegen, mich heute in Jeans zu sehen.

You'll hardly believe it (miracles do happen!) but I bought my first jeans for 2 years! I somehow felt the need of owning a pair...my house mates were slightly shocked, as well as my co-workers to see me wearing jeans today.

Dummerweise habe ich das Hochladelimit bei Photobucket überschritten und nun wurden meine Bilder vorübergehend außer Kraft gesetzt. Am 10. August werden sie wieder freigegeben...das tut mir wirklich leid, ich verspreche dass das nie wieder vorkommen wird!
Bis dahin hilft mir TinyPic aus.

Leider hat "mein" Team gestern nicht gewonnen - dennoch haben sie super gespielt und hatten Spaß, was das wichtigste ist.
Ich habe wieder etwas bequemes getragen:

Der heutige Tag drehte sich nur um Bike Polo - es ist wie das Polo welches ihr schon kennt, nur mit Fahrrädern statt Pferden. Dieses Wochenende finden die Europameisterschaften in London statt und ein Freund meiner Mitbewohnerin spielt in einem Team. Deshalb gingen wir hin um zuzuschauen und sie anzufeuern. Sie haben super gespielt und sich so für morgen qualifiziert. Ich bin sehr aufgeregt deshalb und hoffe natürlich, dass sie gewinnen!
Hier ein paar Eindrücke:

Today was all about bike polo - it's like the polo you know, just with bikes instead of horses. The European Championships take place in London this week-end and a friend of my housemate plays in a team. So we went to cheer and watch. They did a great job and so they qualified for tomorrow. I'm very excited and hope, of course, that they will win!

Und mein Outfit natürlich. Abends fing es an zu regnen und als wir endlich zuhause waren, waren wir total durchnässt. Deshalb brauche ich jetzt auch eine heiße Dusche!

And, of course, my outfit. In the evening it started raining and when we finally got home, we were totally wet. That's why I'm off now for a hot shower!
