7 Days of Style: Summer Stories

Dieses Mal steht nicht (nur) das Outfit im Vordergrund, sondern Sommer-Geschichten. Wenn ich an den Sommer denke, fallen mir die großen Sommerferien ein. Ich bin in Brandenburg aufgewachsen, und der Duft nach Kiefer, trockenem Gras und Sand sind für mich direkt mit heißen Temperaturen verbunden sowie das Gefühl von unendlich viel Zeit und Unbekümmertheit. Manchmal rieche ich diese Kombination bei Ausritten und habe dann sofort ein wohliges Gefühl.
This time, not (only) the outfits are in the foreground but our summer stories. If I think of summer, I always think of the long summer holidays. I grew up in Brandenburg, a fairly rural part of Germany famous for its pines, and the smell of pine trees, dry grass and sand are directly linked with hot temperatures and the feeling of boundless time and carefreeness. Sometimes, I smell this combination when I go on hacks and instantly have a comforting feel.

I love the way that you have styled that lovely skirt. I recently bought one similar and until now have been unable to think of casual yet pretty ways of wearing it out. And what a lovely summer memory, it makes me think of my own, some of my happiest memories.
