Wooden Painted Hangers
5/06/2013 04:44:00 pm
And here we go with the first project of my new flat! I'm sure you all know these simple wooden hangers from IKEA. I've got plenty of them but thought they were a little boring - without further ado, I got paint and started painting them.
Two coats of paint and one coat of spray varnish later, I had a respectable array of pink hangers that are now holding my clothes. Try it as well, and plan an afternoon for this project!

What a beautiful blog you have here. Just a paint-job and the mass - manufactured feel of the hangers goes away. Looks so much more personal. Love this DIY.
ReplyDeleteAs a matter of fact I have been planning to re-decorate my hangers too. But in a different way. Hope to do that soon back at my blog.
Couldn't resist following your awesome blog on Bloglovin. It would be a pleasure if you stopped by mine.

ReplyDeleteOh my word! I have to do this! I have all my clothes hanging in my closet by color. This would add such a great spectrum. I love it.
