DIY Shakers
A little while ago, my sister gave me these three little honey jars - she was sure that I could use them somehow. Oh, how right she was! Before my inner eye, I saw shakers just as Sweet Paul has made them.
1. First off I used label remover to get rid of all remains.
2. Mit Hammer und Nagel Löcher in die Deckel hauen. Dabei schön dick Zeitung drunterlegen, sonst leidet der Fußboden/der Schreibtisch!
2. Make holes into the lids using a hammer and a nail. Put a thick layer os newspaper underneath, otherwise your floor/desk will suffer!
3. Now fill the jars, preferably with your own creations. Clockwise: herb salt (salt + herbs of the provence + pepper), fire (paprika + curcuma + curry + pepper) and cinnamon and sugar.

Oh so cute! This would be perfect for some of my flavored sugars that I don't have bottles for and so much prettier than the standard shakers you buy at the store. Brilliant Kati! xo
ReplyDeleteSie sind so süß! :) I love how you filled them with your own creations instead of just salt and pepper. I was wondering if you could tell me what herbs are in the Kräutersalz? I want to make some of my own!!
