Das heutige Outfit ist sehr verspielt und, was die Farben angeht, vom Marine-Stil inspiriert. Das Shirt ist sehr kurz, manche würden es wohl 'crop top' nennen, aber ich finde einfach das Muster, die Stickerei und die Farben toll. Die Nägel wurden später rot lackiert, passend dazu.

Today's outfit is very playful and inspired by the marine style (if you look at the colours). The shirt is a short one, a 'crop top', as some people may call it, but I just love the print, the embroidery and the colours. I painted my nails red later, to match it.

Gestern war ein toller Abend: wir waren in einem Hotel essen und das Menü war wirklich unglaublich gut! Es hat dann auch eine Weile gedauert, bis ich dann im Bett war und jetzt bin ich ziemlich müde...4 Stunden Schlaf sind nicht unbedingt ausreichend für mich.
Heute gibt's nur Bilder von dem Essen gestern, langweilig vielleicht, aber ich wollte heute nicht früher aufstehen um noch Outfitsfotos zu schiessen!

Yesterday night was great: we went out dining in a hotel and the food was really incredible good! I went to bed late and am really tired now...4 hours of sleep are not enough for me.

Nach anderthalb Monaten hier in London fühle ich mich nun endlich nicht mehr wie ein Fremdling. Natürlich ist es eine tolle Erfahrung in einem anderen Land füer eine Weile zu leben, aber es ist auch nicht immer einfach. In den ersten Tagen habe ich fast nichts verstanden und fühlte mich manchmal hilflos. Alles war so anders als ich es gewohnt war und ich hatte Hemmungen Englisch zu sprechen aus Angst Fehler zu machen. Aber glücklicherweise haben mir die Leute in meiner näheren Umgebung sehr geholfen, vor allem meine Mitbewohner. Sie haben mich mitgenommen wenn sie ausgegangen sind oder sich mit ihren Freunden getroffen haben und so wurde ich Teil eines tollen Freundeskreises.

After one and a half months here in London I don't feel like a stranger anymore. Of course it's a great experience to live in another country for some time, it's not always easy. The first days I understood nothing and felt sometimes helpless. Evertything was different from the things I was used to and I had inhibitions to speak English because I was afraid to make mistakes. But, luckily, the people in my environment helped me a lot, especially my house mates. They took me with them when they went out or met their friends and so I became a part of a great circle of friends.

Heute ist es regnerisch draussen, aber das stört mich nicht - eine Mitbewohnerin wird heute 21 und wir werden das mit einem Abendessen und Cocktails feiern! Ich freue mich schon so darauf!

Today it's rainy outside, but I don't care - a house mate turns 21 today and we're going to celebrate that with a dinner and some cocktails! I so look forward to it!

Ich habe beschlossen, ein paar von meinen Londonteilen zu verkaufen und zu diesem Zwecke einen Sale-Blog erstellt. Bei Interesse einfach einen Kommentar hinterlassen oder mir eine Mail schreiben!
Eine Sache, die ich an London besonders liebe, sind die kostenlosen Zeitungen, die man an den U-Bahnen bekommt. Ist natürlich kein 'ernster' Journalismus, sondern hoffnungsloser Boulevard, aber sie versüßen einem die Fahrzeit sehr!

One thing I love London for are the free newspapers you receive at the tube stations. Of course they aren't full of 'serious' journalism, but they brighten up your time of travel!


Heute trage ich mal wieder ein Charity Shop-Teil (auch etwas, was ich an London sehr liebe!).

Wie kannst du dir die ganzen neuen Sachen leisten und wie schaffst du sie alle nach Deutschland? Wie ihr vielleicht wisst, habe ich einen Nebenjob in Deutschland, neben meinem Studium. Ich arbeitete seit November bis zu 20 Stunden die Woche - und habe das ganze Geld für London gespart. So kann ich es mir überhaupt leisten hier zu wohnen (die Mieten sind lächerlich hoch)! Ich wollte eine tolle Zeit hier haben ohne mich um meine Finanzen sorgen zu müssen und ich wollte natürlich auch shoppen gehen. Ich werde ein Paket nach Deutschland mit dem ganzen neuen Zeug schicken (müssen), damit ich kein Übergeweicht im Flieger habe...

Some time ago I wanted you to send me your questions - now I managed it to answer them. Here we go... How can you afford all the new clothes and how do you manage it to get them all to Germany? As you might know, I have a part time job in Germany, besides my studies. I worked since November up to 20 hours a week - and I saved all that money for London. That's why I can even afford living here (rents are ridiculous high)! I wanted to have a good time here without worrying about my finances, and of course I wanted to shop. I'm going to send a package to Germany with all the extra stuff, so that I don't have excess baggage...


Worauf achtest du, wenn du shoppen gehst? Meist streife ich nur durch die Läden und schaue nach den Farben und Mustern. Wenn etwas meine Aufmerksamkeit erregt, schaue ich genauer hin.

To what do you pay attention during shopping? Often I just walk through the store and look at the colours and patterns. If something catches my attention, I take a closer look.


Warum hast du mit dem Bloggen angefangen? Ich habe das ganze Gebiet Fashion Blogs gerade mal zwei Wochen bevor ich mit meinem eigenen Blog angefangen habe, entdeckt. Ich glaube ich dachte einfach, dass ich das auch kann und wollte es probieren.

Why do you started blogging? I discovered blogs about two weeks before I started blogging on my own. I think I just thought that I could do that, too, and wanted to give it a try.


Hat sich dein Stil durchs bloggen verändert? Definitiv! Ich habe soviel Inspiration von all den tollen Blogs bekommen und wurde selbstsicher genug, um die Sachen und Farben zu tragen, die ich tragen will.

Did your style changed because of blogging? Definitely! I got so much inspiration from all the great blogs out there and got more confident to wear the clothes and colours I want.

Heute war ein normaler Arbeitstag, ich habe ein weiteres omamäßiges Kleid mit passenden Strumpfhosen und Ballerinas getragen.

Das Konzert gestern war toll: Die Bands, die Location, alles! Das ICA (Institute of Contemporary Arts) ist direkt beim Trafalgar Square, da stieg ich also auch aus dem Bus aus...

The gig yesterday was so great: the bands, the venue, everything! The ICA (Institute of Contemporary Arts) is located right next to Trafalgar Square, so I left the bus there.
