We love making veggie burgers at home even though they are quite a task to make. By now, we have tried many recipes and really like this one from Oh She Glows!

As you can tell there are many good things in here that do not quite look as nice when they are all mixed but taste deliiiicious!

A good burger is only complete when there are sauces. When we had some friends over for a burger dinner, we had three different sauces on the dining table. For a start, a mint yoghurt sauce for which yoghurt is mixed with chopped mint, tabasco, salt and pepper as well as lemon.

We also had a honey mustard sauce that was seasoned with balsamic vinegar and salt + pepper.

Last but not least: Zwiebelmarmelade. Sieht eklig aus, schmeckt aber super! Dazu reichlich Zwiebeln fein schneiden, 10 min vorsichtig anbraten.
Last but not least: onion jam. Looks disgusting but tastes superb! Finely slice a good amount of onions and carefully fry for 10 mins. Then add jam (blackcurrant or cherry is good for that), let it simmer for a while and season with s+p.

Probiert's doch mal aus! // Give it a try!

The last few days were really great here and you could even leave the house without a jacket. This will change very soon I'm afraid, too bad! I wore this outfit last weekend for a trip to the supermarekt - super comfortable and cosy because of the wide jumper!
This bag is from Two Tickets (find the bag here) - completely handmade and I just love it! The length of the strap is just perfect and I also really like the look of it. Two Tickets is the etsy shop by Amanda who sells handmade bags, belts, jewellery and scarves in it. I really like and admire such business women who simply go for their dreams! Quite recently, Amanda has a kickstarter campaign running to fund her next collection!
When Vedette contacted me to ask whether I want to style one lingerie item two ways I was very sceptical at first. I'm not the cleavage type of gal, and it just seemed a little odd. But oh well, I thought I may as well give it a try. So this is my day look, comfy with a hat and the Sarah corset:

Hat: H&M // cardigan: second hand // scarf: handmade // corset: c/o Vedette // belt: hand-me-down // denims: Kenvelo // shoes: Primark
And this is how I would wear the corset for a night out: covered enough to make me feel comfortable but still styled enough.

Cardigan: Tally Weijl // corset: c/o Vedette // belt, tights: Primark // skirt: handmade (tutorial here) // shoes: H&M
And the best: three of you can win one item from the Basic Line! You only need to like Vedett's Facebook Page and follow Vedette on twitter. Good luck!

Super also für Ungeduldige!
Today I show you how you can easily sew a maxi dress from jersey fabric. Since jersey doesn't necessarily need to be hemmed, you can turn a blind eye and only seam what is really required. So, a perfect project for impatient people! You'll need: about 1.20 x 1.50 m fabric (depends on your measurements, really), elastic, measuring tape, thread and pins.
1. Pin and hem the shorter side of the fabric so that an elastic will fir through the resulting tunnel.
2. Now measure the distance between the upper edge of the dress and where you want the waist elastic to be on your body; then transfer these measurements onto the fabric. If the distance is 25 cm for example, then draw a line 25 cm apart from and parallel to the upper egde.
3. Now cut a strip of fabric from the bottom end, about 1.5 - 2 cm wide. Lay this over the drawn line and pin in place. Sew the sides so that you get a tunnel in the middle.
4. As a next step, thread elastic through the just sewn and the first tunnel - you can determine the length by measuring tightly where the elastics will be later on. Then take away 1 or 2 cm away from that value so that the elastic will be nice and tight (especially the upper one!). Then sew the open ends together.
5. The sides are still open - simply sew them together.
6. Now comes the last step: shortening the dress to a length that is perfect for you. And the maxi dress is ready for you! If you don't fully sew together the sides, you are even left with a great leg slit.

September was the month between summer and autumn with hot sun and cold rainy days. A colourful mix not only regarding the weather, but also on this blog (and in my life).
