Chair Makeover
Just as the ladder, this old chair is originally from my parents' house - no one knows who old it is but is has been made of real wood and none of that chipboard/pressed wood kind of thing. It was in the tool shed for quite a while and this is how it looked: in a nice light blue colour, but with many, many stains.
In Berlin, I sanded and primed it - this often looks really streaky but believe me, this is totally fine!
I really wanted to paint it in a mint colour so the easiest way for me was to mix white paint and colour concentrate together!
After three coats of paint and one coat of clear varnish, it now lives in the bedroom and is my make up table chair (isn't this great? I never had a make up table before!).
-Kati
P.S.: Simply keep the left over paint in jars, if you need to touch up or if you want something else in exactly that colour.
