Katinka Update

Zeit für ein neues Update! Diesen Monat habe ich schon zwei von meinen Clutches verkauft und bin suuuper glücklich! Dieses Update wird nur für den DaWanda-Shop sein, und es enthält meine erste kleine Kollektion - die Herbstkollektion! Drei Teile, die farblich und thematisch zusammenpassen und zusammen bei einem Herbstspaziergang perfekte Begleiter sind.

Time for a new update! This month, I have sold two of my clutches and I am more than happy about that! This update will only be for my DaWanda-Shop (I still ship internationally though and have English descriptions for every product) and includes my first little collection - the autumn collection! Three items that match in colour and topic and that are the perfect companions for an autumn walk.

Spring Dress in Autumn

Zur Zeit ist es supertolles Wetter hier, und man kann die kurzen Ärmel auspacken. Das Kleidchen hatte ich schon ewig nicht mehr an, aber für die Arbeit habe ich es dann doch trotzdem mal wieder rausgeholt. Schön frühlingshaft und stimmungsaufhellend, genau das richtige!

At the moment we have such a great weather here, and you can wear short sleeves again. I haven't worn this little dress in ages but took it out of the closet for work today. Nicely spring-like and cheery, the right thing!

Dark Chocolate Cupcakes

Gibt's was besseres als Schokoladen-Cupcakes zum Frühstück? Kaum, möchte ich mal behaupten. Deshalb: morgen früh aufstehen, diese Dinger zubereiten und genießen!

Is there anything better than chocolate cupcakes for breakfast? No, I am claiming here. Only thing to do: get up early tomorrow, make these guys and enjoy!

Das Rezept für die Cupcakes habe ich hier gefunden, aber mein eigenes Frosting draufgetan. Dazu 100g Butter schaumig schlagen, 100g Frischkäse dazu, etwas Vanillezucker sowie 100g Puderzucker. Gut vermixen und auf die Cupcakes geben!

I used this recipe for the cupcakes but put my own frosting on top. Beat 100g butter until fluffy, add 100g cream cheese, a little bit of vanilla extracr and 100g icing sugar. Mix well and decorate the cupcakes!

Not Quite an Outfit Post

Wenn ihr das lest, bin ich schon weg und habe schon eine Trauung von einer guten Freundin mit angesehen. Dieses Wochenende steht also ganz im Zeichen der Liebe und der Hochzeit und ich bin sicher, es wird/ist einfach toll!

When you read this post I'm already gone and have witnessed a marriage service from a good friend of mine. This weekend is completely under the banner of love and marriage and I'm sure it will be/is simply great!

Diese Fotos sind vor ein paar Tagen entstanden; wie man sieht herbstelt es schon sehr in unseren Gefilden. Ich find es super und freue mich auf die kühlere Jahreszeit. Übrigens: beim Friseur war ich am Donnerstag nur zum Nachschneiden, also werdet ihr keine großen Veränderungen sehen!

These photos were taken a few days ago; as you can tell, there is a touch of autumn in our part of the country. I love it and look forward to the colder season. By the way: I only had my ends cut at the hairdresser on Thursday so you won't see any great changes!

Striped Plant Pot DIY

Heute ein kleines, schnell umgesetztes DIY! Um einen Pflanztopf zu verschönern braucht ihr nur einen dünnen Pinsel und etwas Lack.

Today a little, quickly realised DIY! To prettify a plant pot you only need a thin brush and some varnish.

Mithilfe eines Bleistiftes zuerst die Linien aufmalen, damit es keine totale schiefe Katastrophe gibt, dann mit dem Lack nachzeichnen. Die Streifen können ruhig 'messy' werden!

Using a pencil, firstly draw on guide lines so it won't become a total crooked catastrophe, then paint these lines with the varnish. The stripes can look a little messy!
