(Werbung) Ich nehme mal an, dass ich anhand der jetzigen Bilder doch mal etwas sagen muss: Aidan und ich erwarten im Sommer diesen Jahres Nachwuchs, und ich kann kaum in Worte fassen, wie die letzten Monate so für uns waren. Zwischen Geheimhaltung, Vorfreude, Angst, Aufgeregtheit und schließlich das gemeinsame Freuen mit Familie und Freunden war alles dabei. Drückt uns die Daumen, dass der kleine Wurm weiterhin so gut wächst und alles gut bleibt!

(Advertisement) I suppose I finally have to say something looking at these current pictures: Aidan and I are expecting a child this summer, and I can hardly describe in words what the last few months have been like for us. Between secrecy, anticipation, fear, excitement and finally the joy of sharing with family and friends, everything was there. Keep your fingers crossed for us that the little person continues to grow so well and everything stays good!

Die Schwangerschaft hat sich natürlich auch auf meine Garderobe ausgewirkt: ein paar Hosen und Röcke mussten schon in die "Später mal wieder"-Kiste und der Rock wird es auch nicht mehr lange mitmachen - derzeit ist er aber noch sehr bequem durch den Stretchanteil und soviel eleganter als ein weiter Sack! :-) Am Donnerstag habe ich dann doch mal Schwangerschaftsstrumpfhosen gekauft - hui, sooo viel bequemer! Den Mantel von Rosegal kennt ihr bereits zur Genüge, das Shirt von diesem Post (gekauft bei Karstadt, gibt's aber auch hier im Esprit Online Shop). Ich fand die Kombi aus bequemen Basic-Shirt und der Streifenbluse so schön, fast maritim, und Rock sowie Shirt haben goldene Knöpfe, das passt also auch gut zusammen. Außerdem mag ich, wie die gerüschte Ärmelkante aus der Bluse rausguckt, haha, ja, über so kleine Details kann ich mich freuen! Und generell kann man mit der Kombi dunkelblau - weiß/hellgrau nicht viel falsch machen. Also, lasst es euch allen gut gehen, passt auf eure Lieben auf und ich freue mich, die nächste aufregende Zeit mit euch zu teilen!

The pregnancy also had an effect on my wardrobe: a few pants and skirts had to be put in the "later again" box and the skirt won't last long - but at the moment it is still very comfortable due to the stretchiness and so much more elegant than a wide one without shape! :-) On Thursday, I bought a pair of pregnancy tights - dear, sooo much more comfortable! You already know this coat from Rosegal well enough, the shirt from this post (bought by Karstadt, but also available here in the Esprit Online Shop). I found the combination of the comfortable basic shirt and the striped blouse so beautiful, almost maritime, and the skirt as well as the shirt have golden buttons, so these fit well together. I also like how the frilled sleeve edge peeks out of the blouse, haha, yes, I'm happy about such small details! And generally speaking, you can't go wrong with the combination dark blue - white/light grey. So then, take care of your loved ones and I look forward to sharing the coming exciting times with you!

Letzten Sonntag ging es für Aidan und mich zum Brunchen - und da ist ein bequemes Outfit das Allerwichtigste! Mütze auf, damit man seine Haare nicht zurechtmachen muss, und man ist bereit zum All You Can Eat. Heute mal nur Fotos mit Jacke, unter null Grad und Wind, nö, da wollte ich die mal anlassen! :-)

Manchmal muss es ein Crumble mit Schlagsahne sein - für uns natürlich in der veganen Variante, und sie steht der "normalen" in nichts nach, wenn ihr mich fragt! Das Rezept habe ich aus dem Buch "Keep It Vegan" von Aine Carlin und daher weiß ich nicht, ob ich das Rezept hier einfach so posten darf. Ich lass euch mal mit ein paar Impressionen da und einem Link zu einem ähnlichen Rezept! 

Sometimes, there is simply a need for a crumble to be on the table - for us, it is the plant-based version of course and if you ask me, it is in no way inferior to the 'normal' one! I got the recipe from the book 'Keep it Vegan' by Aine Carlin and hence don't really know whether I can just post it here. I therefore leave you with some impressions and a link to a similar recipe!

In den Crumble-Teig habe ich etwas Powerberries Mix von goodme reingemixt welchen ich mal auf einem Event bekommen hatte - der hat ofenbar viele Antioxidantien und ist einfach gut. Immerhin habe ich mich etwas weniger schuldig gefühlt, soviel Zucker zu konsumieren! :-)

I also mixed in some ground Powerberries mix from goodme that I received at an event once - apparently these have loads of antioxidants and are good for you. At least it makes you feel a little less guilty for consuming all that sugar. :-)

Ganz lecker war es - seid ihr auch Crumble-Fans? // It was very delicious - are you also crumble fans?

Da wir derzeit mit angenehm milden Temperaturen (zumindest für den Winter) gesegnet sind, können die dicken Winterstiefel und die gefütterte Jacke auch mal zuhause bleiben! Dafür hält dann ein Strickkleid warm genug, und die Thermostrumpfhosen tragen auch dazu bei, dass man nicht mit fünf Schichten aus dem Haus muss.

As we are currently blessed with pleasantly mild temperatures (considering it's winter time), the thick winter boots and the padded jacket can stay at home for once! A knitted dress keeps warm enough and the thermal tights also contribute to the fact that you don't have to leave the house with five layers.

Ein recht schlichtes Outfit, und vielleicht hätte ich auffälligere Strumpfhosen angezogen, wäre ich an diesem Tag nicht arbeiten gewesen! Wie hättet ihr das Kleid kombiniert?

Hui, und da sind wir auch schon im neuen Jahr! Ich hoffe, euer Silvester war schön und ging ohne Böller-Unfälle vonstatten! Wir haben es ruhig angehen lassen, nachdem wir Weihnachten in England bei der Familie meines Mannes verbracht haben - sehr schön war es und hier sind ein paar Impressionen für euch!
