I do really like simply DIYs and horsey elements in my wardrobe - so this is the perfect combination of both: horse show elbow patches! You need: jumper/cardigan, paper, matching thread, two different kinds of fabric, pen, scissors, pins.
1. First, make the templates from paper; on the photo you can see the measurements of mine. Afterwards, transfer onto the fabric and cut two each.
2. Now pin in place and sew. I decided to go for zig zag stitch since I like the 'rustic' style it gives to the patch. Put on the jumper and mark the tip of the elbow with pen or chalk.
3. Sew onto the sleeves - in my case, I could only do this by hand due to the narrow sleeves. And done!
