Handmade Red Cape

11/04/2012 12:34:00 pm

Sewing is such a thing for me - I do like it, but my patience is actually not enough for a complete item. I made this cape here last Christmas (with cursing and the advice of my ma). It looks pretty - I find - but I won't tackle such a project any time soon!

The thick fabric keeps me all toasty, the hood is lined with floral jersey. The zipper was quite a pain to fit in, and the arm holes...let's not talk about it. But I'm proud as can be!

  18. This is so cute! I've always wanted a hoodie cape coat, but they aren't flattering on my figure, and I usually can't find a good one in my size. (I'm a big girl!) I'd love to try making one for myself, but sewing is not one of my strengths!

  19. I'm impressed, I have to admit. Rarely do I come across a blog that's both equally educative and interesting, and without a doubt, you've hit the nail on the head. The problem is something that not enough men and women are speaking intelligently about. I am very happy that I found this in my hunt for something regarding this.
